The Afternoon Literary Group is reading
Because of the length of the book we will be discussing the first 20 chapters on March 22 and chapters 21 through 40 on April 26
It's a novel, and a rip-roaring one, packed with vivid characters and suspenseful action. But it's a historical novel, set in Boston (Lehane's hometown) just after World War I, a meticulously researched tale that in the hands of this master storyteller jumps right off the page and hollers.

Stop by the library for a copy and join us!

Get up and get moving!
Join us on Friday mornings at 9:30  for a low impact workout.  All you need is a comfortable pair of walking shoes. We'll use Leslie Sansone's WALK AWAY THE POUNDS dvd.
No strenuous exercise, just some walking in place and fun, swinging arm movements!  Dress comfortably, grab your water bottle and get ready to smile & laugh as a great way to start your Friday!

We have an ongoing sale for books that have been donated to the library that we haven't needed to add to our collection.  Stop by to see our always evolving display!

Did you know that we have a telescope to lend?

Why not borrow our Orion StarBlast Tabletop Telescope and explore the night sky? A great way to spend a cool crisp evening with the kids.  Check out a book along with it and survey the Milky Way!

Memorial Bench for Barbara Baker
Generous donations have allowed us to put a beautiful granite bench on the side of the library beneath the flagpole in memory of Barbara Baker.  Barb was a devoted and well respected Library Trustee for 10 years.  She was avidly involved in the process of building our new library and was quite proud of it.  She was dear in our hearts and is greatly missed.
